Established in 1986 and based in London, UK, UHY is a network of independent accounting and consulting firms with offices in nearly 240 major business centres in 78 countries. Over 6,300 staff, generated an aggregate income of US$583 million in 2010,ranking UHY as the 23rd largest international accounting and consultancy network. Each member of UHY is a legally separate and independent firm. The UHY networks is a member of the Forum of Firms.


The main mission of the Puerto Rico Society of CPA is to provide services to its membership and contribute to their professional development. The organization endeavors to promote individual and collective leadership in the pursuit of appropriate solutions to the socio-economic problems in our society.


The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants is the national, professional organization for all Certified Public Accountants. Its mission is to provide members with the resources, information, and leadership that enable them to provide their services in the highest professional manner to benefit of the public as well as employers and clients. In fulfilling its mission, the AICPA works with state CPA organizations and gives priority to those areas where public reliance on CPA skills is most significant.



The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board is a private, nonprofit corporation created by the Sabarnes-Oxley Act of 2002 to oversee the auditors of public companies. The PCAOB was created to protect investors and the public interest by promoting informative, fair, and independent audit reports.


The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), is the voice of the construction industry. AGC is an organization of qualified construction contractors and industry-related companies dedicated to skill, integrity, and responsibility. Operating in partnership with its chapters, the association provides a full range of services satisfying the needs and concerns of its members, thereby improving the quality of construction and protecting the public interest.


The Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce is the local private sector association with the most influential presence before the Puerto Rico Legislative Assembly and the U.S. Congress. It represents all business sectors in Puerto Rico and has a leadership role in promoting legislation, advising the legislative committees on matters of concern to the business community, tracking legislation throughout the legislative process, and informing members about its status through its publication “Cámara en Acción” (Chamber in Action).
