Senior Tax Specialist

A leading CPA firm, UHY Del Valle & Nieves, offers a family-friendly environment and competitive compensation, including excellent benefits for career focused individuals. We are currently seeking a senior tax specialist to join our growing practice. A Senior Tax Specialist is responsible for utilizing research skills, applying tax foundational knowledge to understand potential tax issues, meeting with clients for gathering information necessary for filing and participating in tax planning, recognizing, and communicating potential risks, preparing tax accrual workpapers and perform tasks with little supervision.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

License or Certifications:

CPA License or candidate to become a CPA

Qualifications:
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English
  • English Analytical, research and critical thinking skills
  • Knowledge Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and PR and Federal Tax returns software
