Carlos F. Nieves is a shareholder and the partner in charge of the Audit Department, with over 19 years of experience in public accounting and tax strategy. Recognized as an industry leader, he provides support services in construction litigation and claims. He has also taught professional education for the Association of Public Accountants of Puerto Rico, Banco Popular, the Association of Engineers and Surveyors of Puerto Rico (CIAPR), and the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC). Nieves holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of Puerto Rico.

Rafael Del Valle Vega is a shareholder and the partner in charge of the Tax Department at UHY Del Valle & Nieves PSC. A graduate of the University of Puerto Rico, he has over 30 years of experience in public accounting, specializing in tax planning for clients in construction, manufacturing, services, distribution, and sales. He previously served as a manager at KPMG. An active member of the College of Certied Public Accountants of Puerto Rico, he was its President from 2008 to 2009 and has held various leadership roles, including Treasurer and Vice President. He has contributed to key committees on tax reform, municipal affairs, and construction and currently chairs the Construction Committee while serving on the Tax Affairs Committee.
